"I want to Be Considered One of the Greatest. That’s My Motivation." An Interview With Adam Azim

Adam Azim is aspiring for a European title in Wolverhampton on Saturday November 18th. Live on Sky Sports, Adam will be defending his EBU title against European Super Lightweight Champion Franck Petitjean. 

We chatted to Adam Azim at his press event this weekend to talk all things motivation, mottos, and defining success. Read on to learn more. 

Tell us a little bit about how you rise above setbacks in your career…

You need to stay focused. Even if you have a bad training session you keep moving forward. You can’t be perfect every spar, every fight. I trust in what I am doing so sticking to the plan and strict regime is what I can control.

At 21 years old you’re a super lightweight with outstanding results… What keeps you motivated? How do you push on to achieve your goals?

I want to be considered one of the greatest. That’s my motivation. Winning world titles then defending them. Everything else that comes with success is a nice bonus.

What is the one motto you live by?

Hard work, dedication. Motivation is inspiration.  

What does the next 6 months-year have in-store for you?

Winning the EBU title and moving up the rankings.

How do you define success?

Becoming undisputed.
