From Coast to Course: Engineered for the Greats

If watching the world’s best golfers in action this summer has got you itching to play some golf, the good news is we have made it easier than ever to perform at your best while looking the part on the course.

Built for the Elements

If you want to take your Major-inspired participation a step further and head for a links course – just as the pros did in Northern Ireland – our apparel can cope with the often diverse weather experienced on the coast.
The fact our range can deal with every possible element gives further credence to the old maxim that there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad preparation.

Pro-Level Preparation

Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson were proof of that in Northern Ireland. The Englishman and the Swede are part of the Majesticks GC team, who all wear our apparel, and they arrived in Northern Ireland ready to deal with every kind of weather.

Engineered for Peak Performance

When the course was bathed in sunshine early in the week, the pair were glad to have their Majesticks GC Golf Polo, which is a perfect blend of performance and style.

Its high-stretch, lightweight, breathable fabric keeps golfers cool while side splits at the hem increase freedom of movement and Otek technology maintain freshness.
Shorts are not allowed in Major tournaments, so Westwood and Stenson paired their polo with our Golf Club Trousers – but, happily, because they are crafted with high-stretch woven fabric, they are also super lightweight.

Their ProTek finish repelled any passing showers later in the week.
If they wanted a more streamlined fit, they could have gone for the Golf Pinnacle Trousers’ elasticated cuffs and inseam lower leg hem zip closures.

A Course that Demands the Best

Our golf collection was recently put to the test during a shoot at St Annes Old Links Golf Club, a storied links course on England’s northwest coast. Situated in Lytham St Annes, the course is renowned for its fast-running fairways, pot bunkers, and challenging sea breezes – a true test of composure and consistency.

Having hosted prestigious events including Final Qualifying for The Open, St Annes Old Links is steeped in golfing history, but remains resolutely focused on the future. Its layout rewards both precision and imagination – ideal conditions for athletes who hold themselves to the highest standard.
It’s a setting where performance gear isn’t optional – it’s essential. Every piece in our golf range was engineered with environments like this in mind.

Warm Weather Essentials

For hot days on the links, our Golf Club Shorts are simply essential for the amateur golfer. They are really lightweight and have a poly-elastane blend for comfort, as well as water-resistant ProTek technology.
This is the United Kingdom though, so Westwood and Stenson obviously had to be prepared for anything. Our Majesticks GC range is just that – and even as they layered up as the main action began, they still looked the part while the apparel helped them to play their best.

Intelligent Layers for Unpredictable Conditions

The Majesticks GC Hybrid Gilet keeps your upper body warm and dry – thanks to its water-repellent ProTek finish – but its sleeveless design means your swing is not constricted.
A stand collar offers a bit more protection against the elements while the centre-front full zip enables some temperature regulation.

The Majesticks GC quarter-zip is a fantastic alternative. Its lightweight fabric is a perfect windbreaker without feeling remotely bulky and it also has rain-resistant ProTek technology. It is absolutely perfect to have in your bag, ready to whip out when the temperature dips, a breeze strikes up or it starts to drizzle. It becomes your go-to piece of kit just as much as your hybrid club.
Other features include a stand collar, set-in long sleeves and the centre front quarter-zip for easy use and temperature regulation.

So, no matter what the elements throw at you when you take to the course, Castore has you covered. There is now no excuse to play golf without apparel that really works.

Performance Protection for the Harshest Days

Finally in the Majesticks GC range, for autumn or spring days when there is a chill in the air, the Flex Hoodie is a must-have. While it keep golfers warm and its ProTek finish resists light rain, it’s still lightweight (and quick drying) and doesn’t trap unwanted heat or moisture.

Engineered hem and cuffs reduce bulk and provide a streamlined aesthetic and ‘set-in’ long sleeves optimise freedom of movement and offer a flattering, tailored look. There is a three-piece adjustable hood and several features with a true golfer in mind, including convenient waterproof external zipped side pockets.
When rain becomes heavier, the Flex Winterised Jacket is a golfer’s best friend. It is engineered with dual fabrication for thermal and multi-stretch capabilities, as well as having an adjustable hem and a peaked hood for the times when the rain is verging on horizontal.
